A Glimpse into my Work at Ankur International: Making a Difference, One Life at a Time

My days at Ankur International are fueled by a potent blend of purpose and passion. As part of this incredible organization, I witness firsthand the transformative power of compassion and collaboration in alleviating suffering and fostering hope.

Imagine the parched relief in a child's eyes as they receive a cup of clean water, a testament to our tireless efforts in providing basic necessities during natural disasters like the Gaza crisis. Or the quiet dignity restored to a destitute mother struggling to feed her family, empowered by our hunger-fighting initiatives and community development projects.

At Ankur International, we don't simply distribute resources; we build bridges of hope. We partner with esteemed organizations like the Portland Rescue Mission, the American Red Cross, and Braking Cycles, amplifying our reach and impact. Every generous donation we receive fuels our mission, transforming lives and communities one act of kindness at a time.

Working here is more than just a job; it's a privilege to be part of a movement that champions human dignity and social justice. It's about leaving the world a little better than we found it, one smile, one shared meal, one empowered community at a time.

If you're looking for work that ignites your soul and fuels your desire to make a difference, join us at Ankur International. Together, let's weave a tapestry of hope, thread by thread, creating a brighter future for all.

From Community Builder to Lifesaver: My Blood Donation Story (and Why You Should Join Me!)

Beyond my work at Ankur International, I also actively participate in saving lives through regular blood donation. As a rare AB+ blood type in South Asia, my contributions hold extra significance, knowing my unique blood group can make a critical difference for someone in need. Since my last donation on, I'm currently gearing up for my next appointment, ready to replenish the reserves and contribute my part to this life-saving cause. Mark your calendars for January 15th, 2024, because that's when I'll be back, needle in arm, ready to share the gift of life once again!
